About our Global Expansion Assessment
The assessment tool is only intended for businesses that already trade internationally, and have an estimated global annual turnover between $18m and $5B. You’ll also need a fair amount of knowledge about your target market and how your business operates internationally in order to be able to answer the questions effectively
The assessment tool is underpinned by an academic model and external research carried out with approximately 1143 international businesses across various international markets. The research included quantitative interviews with professionals involved in decision-making processes with regards to finance, supply chain and international business, as well as additional in-depth qualitative interviews.
If you’re interested in expanding into new markets internationally, you can find more information in our International Business Guides or by contacting your HSBC Representative to see how we can support you.
Taking Yoto to the world
Children’s audio brand Yoto began with a mission to cut screen time for children and has gone on to use HSBC’s Growth Lending Fund and international network to take their product to more users than ever. Hear from their CEO and Co-Founder, Ben Drury, on how they’re building the brand internationally with the help of our network.
We know we can’t stay still and focus merely on our existing markets. International growth is crucial to our success, and we can't do this alone. With a partner like HSBC, we can gain a deep understanding of new markets like APAC and the US and how best to expand into them.
